Chalk: If you are a competitor, I would recommend taking your own block of chalk to competitions. If there is no chalk on the floor, you will be at a massive advantage over your competition.
Sweat Bands: You don’t need to go through nearly as much chalk if you keep your hands dry in the first place. Wear something on your wrists to stop sweat from running down onto your hands. Personally, I place sweat bands under my gymnastics grips to prevent my grips from rubbing my skin. I have about a half dozen pairs so I can wash them and not worry about running out by mid-week.
