Who am I to answer this question?
I own an CrossFit affiliate (group classes)
• I believe group training can harness the best of (1) intensity and (2) compliance…a rare combination.
I own a remote coaching business (individualized coaching)
• I believe that some issues that hold athlete’s back from their best performance CANNOT be solved with a general program.
When may Individualized Coaching not be worth it?
• Your goals are centered around fun & challenge.
• You are young & have no disposable income.
• You are a newer athlete who is surrounded by a big group of highly competitive athletes all doing the same program.
• You are “in the middle” (e.g. average in many ways where you will -for a while- see good results without an individualized program?)
When is Individualized Coaching worth it?
• Your “problems” (e.g. limitations, weaknesses, etc.) are worth paying to solve.
• Your time is more valuable than the cost of hiring a coach.
• You understand that having a great coach is a competitive advantage.
